Vacuum former for Thermoplastics

The DIN A4 Vacuum Former from Green Stuff World is an ideal tool for cosplay, crafts, modeling, and scenography. It is designed to offer precise and detailed molding of thermoplastics and compatible materials, allowing complex shapes to be replicated with ease, making it an essential resource for creators and professionals. Made of MDF and self-adhesive insulating foams, its robust and modern design guarantees efficient performance with every use.

To optimize its operation, it is recommended to apply PVA glue to the joints to improve tightness and maximize suction. It is quick and easy to assemble in just 5 minutes and includes all the necessary hardware.

It is compatible with a wide variety of thermoplastics, including ThermoArt, Worbla, and Cosplayflex.

It is important to note that this machine is NOT suitable for working with certain plastics due to their physical and chemical properties. Materials not recommended include:

PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride)
Polypropylene
PET (polyethylene terephthalate)
Methacrylate (PMMA - polymethyl methacrylate)

These materials may react inappropriately to heat or not respond well to the vacuum process, which could affect the quality of the final result and user safety.

For it to work, it requires a standard vacuum cleaner as well as a hot air gun to soften the materials. Four interchangeable adapters with foam are included, ensuring compatibility with almost any domestic or industrial vacuum cleaner, improving the seal and the efficiency of the vacuum.

Excellent Value For Money

I bought this Vacuum Forming machine at the end of April, so have used it a few times now, and have had excellent results.

The machine is self assembly, but its so easy to put together with comprehensive clear instructions, and shouldn't take you more than 30 mins to do.

Prior to buying this, I was contemplating making one myself, however, unless you already have scraps of wood lying about, then it works out more expensive building it yourself because most sheet wood on sale, comes in larger sizes than you actually require. So Overall, this machine is great value for money.

My only negative, is the cost of delivery (UK) which can be a bit expensive, It would be good if Green Stuff World setup a UK warehouse, so they can ship directly from there (im sure they'd get a lot more orders, because they have great products at a great price).
