What is Spider Serum?

Spider Serum is a unique and innovative product for painting spider webs that have recently become popular in the hobby, modeling, and painting communities. It is a type of non-acrylic paint that is used to create a realistic spider web effect on various surfaces.

Spider serum is a specially formulated paint additive that is designed for creating and painting spider webs on surfaces. It is typically used in hobbies, modeling for spider web painting, and creating a unique and realistic creepy touch to various projects. The serum is made from a combination of ingredients that create a stringy and sticky texture, similar to that of a real spider web.

Spider serum has a wide range of applications in hobbies, modeling, and painting. It can be used to create a spider web effect on models, miniatures, and other hobby projects.

One of the main benefits of using it in hobbies, modeling, and painting is its ability to create a highly realistic spider web effect. Unlike other types of paint additives, it creates a unique and stringy texture that closely resembles a real spider web.

How to Use Spider Serum

  1. Shake the bottle well before using it to ensure proper mixing.
  2. Load Spider Serum directly from the bottle into the airbrush. It is important not to dilute the product with any thinners or diluents as it may affect the resulting spider webs.
  3. Use low airbrush powers to throw the product, typically between 1.5-2 Bars, and airbrushes with a size of 0.3 or higher. Hold the airbrush at a distance of about 30 cm from the model to avoid dragging previous spider webs.
  4. Before applying Spider Serum to the final model, it is recommended to test the product on a small area first. This allows you to control the intensity of the spider webs and adjust the power and distance as necessary.
  5. When applying the product, the sprayed area will be covered with spider webs. Allow the product to settle for a day or two, during which time the spider webs will harden to a tissue paper-like consistency.
  6. After use, clean the airbrush immediately with the recommended Spider Serum Cleaner. This helps to prevent clogging and damage to the airbrush. If you try to clean it with water or alcohol you will surely clog the airbrush as it is not compatible with the product.

While spider serum is generally safe to use, it is important to take certain safety precautions when handling it. Always use it in ventilated areas, and if this is not possible we recommend the use of a respiratory mask for safety. Wear gloves and protective clothing to avoid getting it on your skin or clothes. It is also important to keep the serum out of reach of children and pets.

In addition, it is important to keep the spider serum tightly closed in a cool and dry place to prevent it from drying out.
