Specifically, the “N” stands for the word “Neodymium”, while the number 52 refers to the degree of magnetic power which, in this case, coincides with the highest on the scale.

They stand out for their ability to generate extremely strong magnetic fields in very small size proportions. They are ideal for a wide range of applications in model making, as they allow pieces to be firmly and stably joined together in different contexts, without taking up too much space or including additional weight. This product is perfect for customizing miniatures, assembling interchangeable components and creating dynamic structures without relying on adhesives or complicated mechanical systems, among many other uses.

Which magnet is stronger, N32 or N52?

The main difference between neodymium magnets lies in their magnetic strength. The magnets N52 is significantly stronger than the magnets N32 because, as explained above, the number indicates magnetic strength. The higher it is, the stronger it will be, with 52 being the highest range currently available. Therefore, an N 52 magnet has a higher magnetic flux density and generates a stronger field compared to N32.

If you need it for applications where space and weight are critical, but you need the maximum possible attractive force, magnets N52 will be the best choice. On the other hand, if magnetic strength is not so crucial and you can use one with a lower capacity, an N32 magnet may be sufficient.

Uses of magnets N52

  • Available space for the magnet. Of course, a key factor in choosing the best size is the diameter, or width in general, of the part you need to place it in. These products are available in a variety of sizes, allowing you to choose the format that best fits the cavities or surfaces where you require placement.
  • Attractive strength. When you need an extremely firm grip, you should choose the larger ones, as they will provide a stronger attractive force. For parts that do not require as much force, such as light fixtures, smaller ones may be sufficient.

Cautions when using magnets N52

While this product is incredibly useful, it is also important to heed certain precautions during use.
