Green Stuff World's Real Broken Crystals are a decorative material designed to add a more authentic and sparkling finish to miniatures, models, dioramas, and all kinds of craft projects. Available in 3 different sizes, they allow you to realistically recreate icy surfaces, sparkling snow, debris, broken glass, glass shards, minerals, magical effects, or scenic details with a much more natural look than other synthetic materials.

Thanks to their shine, authentic transparency, and irregular texture, these decorative crystals are perfect for enhancing bases, scenery, play areas, and other decorative and craft uses, such as fantasy, science fiction, or urban scenes. They can be used alone or combined with other products such as artificial snow, pigments, resins, texture pastes, paints, or varnishes, greatly expanding creative possibilities in model making and crafts. Additionally, their transparency makes them perfect for use with LED lights to create realistic lighting effects.

Unlike other similar materials, our crystals have been selected to offer a visually striking finish with an appearance similar to glass fragments, but without sharp edges, making them much safer and easier to handle during work. Their composition is stable and allows them to be easily integrated into various decorative techniques; we recommend the following adhesives for securing them: crystal glue, clear glue, varnish, or acrylic mediums, depending on the desired effect and the type of surface. Cyanoacrylate glue is also a valid option for bonding, but it will affect the crystals’ transparency. On the other hand, white glue or tuft glue is not recommended at all.

These crystals are perfectly paintable, so they can be easily adapted to a wide variety of visual effects and decorative themes. For this purpose, the use of Candy inks is especially recommended, as their transparency allows them to color the crystal without obscuring its shine or translucent appearance, adding depth, chromatic intensity, and a luminous finish in a single pass. This makes it very easy to create effects such as magical crystals, energy fragments, gems, colored ice, tinted glass shards, or fantastical minerals, while always preserving the material’s natural reflection and vibrancy.
