Quartz hexagons for bases

Set of quartz crystal clusters printed in transparent resin, designed to decorate bases, dioramas, scenery, and miniature bases. These pieces represent hexagonal crystalline structures, perfect for integrating directly onto the surface of a base and creating magical, alien, or underground-looking terrain.

This kit is ideal for representing quartz veins, crystallised areas, energy minerals, arcane terrain, fantasy caves, xenos worlds or areas contaminated by radiation, magic or advanced technology. Thanks to their low profile, these pieces can be placed around a miniature’s feet, next to rocks, ruins, sand or scenery elements, offering a different design from quartz prisms.

Their transparent finish makes them easy to customise with inks, Candy paints, Contrast paints, filters or coloured varnishes to create gemstone, quartz, magical crystal, alien energy or glowing mineral effects. They can also be combined with ice, lava or LED lighting effects to create more eye-catching designs with greater visual depth.

These quartz crystal clusters are compatible with fantasy, sci-fi, role-playing and wargame miniatures such as Warhammer 40k®. They are supplied unpainted and can be easily fixed onto bases, scenic bases, dioramas or terrain elements using Crystal Glue. If you choose not to add colour, we recommend applying a gloss varnish to the bits to enhance their transparency and improve the shiny finish.
