A set of pre-painted plasma walls and communications towers designed as scenery elements compatible with a wide range of futuristic miniatures games, and specifically tailored for the new 11th Edition terrain layout. These structures provide visual presence, tactical cover, areas of partial line-of-sight obstruction, and a consistent footprint for today’s game tables based on scenery layouts.

By combining pre-painted plasma walls and communications towers, this set includes two types of scenery with distinct functions on the battlefield:

• Communications towers are considered major structures, so they function as solid pieces within the footprint, providing a prominent visual presence, tactical cover, and partial or total line-of-sight blocking depending on their position. Unlike low or light elements, they are not intended to be freely traversed by vehicles or monsters, which must go around them or move around their physical parts.
• On the other hand, plasma walls or plasma coil arrays act as low or light elements, designed to demarcate zones, provide cover, and allow for smoother movement on the table, including the passage of large units according to applicable rules. Infantry, beasts, and swarms can particularly take advantage of these terrain areas to hide, gain cover, and contest mission objectives.

Inspired by hive cities, industrial worlds, imperial fortifications, manufactorum complexes, and futuristic war zones, these buildings with a grimdark industrial aesthetic fit perfectly into science fiction battlefields. Their details of machinery, generators, ducts, reactors, and fortified structures make them ideal pieces for representing mission objectives, terrain features, tactical cover, or strategic zones on the battlefield.

Compatible with the Glasspack Footprints 11th Edition, adhering to the standard sizes, heights, and proportions used in competitive Matched Play tournaments. Thanks to their elevated design and industrial silhouette, they help create balanced, functional, and visually immersive tables, whether for casual games, tournaments, clubs, or event organizers.

Each building comes fully pre-painted in neutral sci-fi tones with weathered effects, allowing them to blend seamlessly with any army, board, or battle theme. Additionally, they include fluorescent methacrylate elements that stand out visually on the battlefield, representing power sources, active cores, or functioning technology. They are ready to use after a simple initial assembly, offering a practical solution for players looking for an attractive and eye-catching game table without spending extra time painting the scenery.

This pre-painted terrain for science fiction wargames is made of MDF, providing a sturdy, stable, and easy-to-transport structure. It’s perfect for quickly enhancing any game table with functional terrain, a grimdark aesthetic, and compatibility with 28-32mm miniature games such as Infinity, Deadzone, Core Space, Warhammer 40,000, Kill Team, Necromunda, StarCraft, Stargrave, and Zombicide: Invader.

For assembly, we recommend using PVA glue, as it works especially well with MDF, ensuring strong and durable bonds. We do not recommend using cyanoacrylate, as it may result in weaker bonds or damage the pieces with prolonged use.
