What is the difference between this and the Gel version?

The Liquid version flows via capillary action and penetrates tight joins, making it ideal for parts that fit perfectly. The Gel version does not drip, fills small gaps, and gives you slightly more time to reposition the parts. For standard miniature assembly, the liquid version is usually more versatile.

How do I prevent the bottle from drying out once opened?

Clean the nozzle after every use and store it tightly closed. Avoid using the tip to push materials you are gluing (like sand), as this can cause clogs. Keep the product in a cool place, as high temperatures accelerate hardening.

We also sell interchangeable tips that can stay attached to the bottle to prevent the main nozzle from drying out. Store the bottle away from cyanoacrylate accelerator, as the fumes from the activator can harden the cyanoacrylate even if the bottle is closed. A zip-lock bag can also help preserve it.

Is this the same as "Loctite" from a hardware store?

It is essentially the same chemical compound: cyanoacrylate. The difference is that this version features a precision nozzle designed for modeling, and the price per gram is usually better than most hobby super glues.

Is it safe? Does it have a strong odor?

Cyanoacrylate releases fumes during the curing process and bonds skin instantly. Use it in a well-ventilated area, avoid contact with skin and eyes, and keep it out of reach of children.

Can it be sanded once dry?

Yes. Once fully cured, it can be sanded with fine-grit sandpaper. This is very useful for removing excess glue from visible joints.

How long does it take to dry?

This glue joins pieces in just a few seconds, although full curing takes several hours.

Does super glue work on metal?

Yes, it works very well on metal and is one of the most widely used adhesives for metal and resin miniatures. However, for large or very heavy metal parts, pinning is recommended to reinforce the joint.

How to remove cyanoacrylate from the skin?

You can use a cyanoacrylate remover: apply it over the cured glue, let it act for up to 30 minutes, and wipe it off. If you don't have this product, soak the area in soapy water and then apply nail polish remover with acetone. Once dry, gently scrape the glue off using a file.
