Turquoise Beholder

I started painting miniatures later last year, around September or October, having online private classes with Luiza Varella (https://www.instagram.com/luhvarella/). In November, I decided to paint a Beholder for my husband's birthday.

I bought this handmade miniature modeled by Patrícia Matos (https://www.instagram.com/patriciamatosstudio/) and painted using the cheap Brazilian inks I have. It's a challenge to create high-quality paintings without expensive materials, but I'm thriving and doing my best to turn my hobby into a real job so that I can invest and import some Green Stuff materials.

For now, the highest investment was this mini and the grass tuffs created by Noch (https://www.instagram.com/noch_miniature/).

Let's paint those gums!

I forgot to photograph the whole process, but you can see the base color right here:

Skincare

I wanted to create a gradient from turquoise to purple, just because I love those colors, and I think it was a great choice, let me know if you have another suggestion for the skin color because I'll definitely paint more Beholders!

Turn around, BRIGHT EYES, every now and then I fall apart!

Painted those blue eyes, and when I say those I mean ALL OF THEM!

+ Sent him to the dentist to fix his teeth, and he can smile without becoming self-conscious of the tartar in his teeth.
