CONTACT

This is the first miniature I've painted in 14 years. During the pandemic I went through a rough time and to lift my spirits I bought this second-hand Nighthaunt and started painting it. Painting miniatures was a hobby that filled me with joy when I was younger and for the past month, it has been great for my sanity.

My goal was to recreate the gloomy and ancient atmosphere of a cemetery and although I did not quite get the texture I wanted, I am happy with the result. I have titled this piece "El Monte de las Ánimas" because during the painting process I constantly remembered the tale by Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer and the impression it made on me when I read it as a child and wanted to capture that same atmosphere. I hope you like it.
