Use an expanded polyurethane ball, available at any craft store. It is light and resistant, I recommend it as a base for your creations.
The color scheme in blue will remind you of the color of planet earth from space. It will also match the warm colours of our robot.
To achieve a zenithal lighting effect, lighten with white, the color blue, and paint from above. Make sure that the color transitions are smooth, the effect will be much more striking.
The coloured tiles, made with green putty, will serve as the setting for the figure. I chose the colors white and orange, because they stood out a lot from the blue of the planetoid.
Once the planetoid is ready, we will paint the different elements of the stage. All of them must have a similar scale. In this case, 54 mm. We must never leave anything to be painted, and above all, we must try to ensure that the quality of the paint is the same in all the elements.
For the post I used plastic rods and sheets, easy to acquire and work with. The posters of this post, we will make them with printer.
As you can see, it's easy to make the posters. You only have to take into account the size of the plastic panels to print them. Then, it's a question of glue and a bit of wear effects.
With rust coloured washings, it is perfectly aged.
The time has come to add elements to our scene. Different brands, but all on the same scale, 54 mm.
The colour chosen is complementary to the blue of our planetoid. An orange red, with shades of green, that will stand out perfectly.
The jukebox is painted in brown and brass. Then aged with sepia and black ink washes. The look I wanted to get was from an old, used device.
As you can see, these are self-adhesive flowers, very easy to find on our website. It will give a cozier and more humane look to the scene.
Here is a selection of final images of the finished scene. I hope you like it, soon you will be able to see a video of it. If you have any questions, we will be happy to answer them!!
